PIPER grande: foliis ovato-oblongis acuminalis mullincrviis, basi petiolisque

Crescit ad St. Martham. 1).
Rami striati, glabri, crassilic pennae anscrinac: geniculi nodosi; internodii
tri-vel quadripollicarcs.
Folia petiolata, alterna, ovato-oblonga, inferiora basi subcordata, semipe-
dalia, pollices sex ad septem lala, tenera, acuniinata, ulrinque lacvia,
multinervia: nervi obliqui arcuati, inferiores oppositi, rcliqui allcrni, vc-
nosa, basi acqualia, pallide viridia; suprema latere allero parum angu-
stiora et basin versus oblique dccurrcntia.
Petiolus pollicaris, absque appcndiculo.
Pedunculus oppositifolius, petiolo brevior.
Spicae internodiis longiores, tri-vel quadripollicares, crassitie fili emporclici.
